West Art welcomes Fireside Collective w/ Cumberland Honey!

Hailing from Asheville, NC, Fireside Collective is back at West West! The dynamic Americana and bluegrass band is known for its high-energy performances and heartfelt songwriting. Joining them is Central PA's Cumberland Honey, a folk group whose sweet harmonies and heartwarming sound set the perfect tone for the night. Get excited for a night of roots music at its finest!

Kids Art Club: Tissue paper leaf collage

When: Tuesday, November 11th, 10am-10:45

Class Description: Students will explore layering and composition by experimenting with large-scale tissue paper collage. Children will practice using their fine motor skills to cut, glue, and layer large tissue paper pieces to watercolor paper. Students will practice ripping, tearing, and cutting pieces to mimic the fall landscape. Caregivers are encouraged to work alongside their child to participate in the art-making process!

Cost: $20 per family due at the beginning of class (cash, check, or Venmo)

What to Expect:

  • Hand on art exploration with your child

  • Introduction to creative thinking and process-oriented art making for toddlers

  • Sensory-rich, creative play (non-toxic and washable materials provided, things can get messy, so dress accordingly)

  • Adaptive accommodations available

What to bring:

  • Clothes that can get messy (we’ll provide protection too)

  • Curiosity and a willingness to think outside the box!
