West Art Welcomes Cole Davis

Buckle up, Lancaster! We’re really excited to welcome Cole Davis to West Art for an evening of top-shelf jazz. Cole is one of the most versatile upright bass players of his generation, with Juliard pedigree and a richly diverse mix of genres in his pocket.  You might know him from Lambchop or from his work with artists like Bon Iver, Julian Lage, and Poliça.

His music is expressive and immersive, described by NPR as "the way your heart feels after surviving some surefire catastrophe.” It’s going to be something special to hear those sounds moving through our space. It’s a rare chance to experience a musician of his caliber in a room this intimate.

Turntablist, beatmaker, and vinyl enthusiast Vinnie Smaldone, better known as DJ Image, will open the night with a variety of live beats, sampling, and more exciting surprises!
