BIOS:

Roni Bates, a Lancaster PA native, is a Nashville based singer songwriter. She currently attends Lipscomb University where she has been studying commercial music and is involved in the rising college indie music scene. She is inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers and the Cocteau Twins. She is currently working on her first EP which includes her first single "Cry" and soon to be released single "Bowties". She is excited to return to her hometown with a full band and her friends Ian Macginnis and Blanket Forts.

Blanket Forts: The Blanket Forts is a band and studio project lead by a man with many aliases. Conor MacGinnis, chicken macginnis, Ricky Beano, Charlie Sangupta… these are just a few of his names. Originally hailing from Salem Massachusetts, The Blanket Forts set out to explore all seven seas and create musical alchemy wherever they travel next.

Their sound can’t be described but alas, I will try. They like to combine hip hop sampling and break beats with lush and atmospheric emotional singer songwriter ballads that elicit a dreamlike state with a body feel that can’t be denied. Are you feeling it now mr. krabs? Members of the forts sure are. The Blanket Forts have just released their debut album “My Lucky Sword” and they have an ambitious 2025 lineup of singles and yet another full length album coming soon!

Ian MacGinnis is a 21 year old Massachusetts native, and Nashville resident. Ian’s first love was on guitar, but soon after began writing songs in his parents basement. In April 2024, he released his debut EP, “The Time of Our Lives?”. Since then, he’s released two singles “Colors” and “I Will Be Loved”.

Ian finds his music influences from an assortment of genres like Blues, Rock, Folk, and Singer/Songwriter. With his songs, he hopes to inspire an appreciation for all the emotions that come with being alive.
