Artist Bios
Jac Conner:
Jac Conner is a singer/songwriter and live looper based in Lancaster, PA. Having grown up on a vast variety of music from both his parents and his own discovery, he pulls inspiration from across the genre spectrum. In particular, Jac credits artists such as Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, and Elliott Smith as key inspirations to his compositions. Jac has performed across the Eastern United States, including but not limited to Orlando, Philadelphia, and Nashville. Last year, he put out a series of singles, followed by his EP “Closure?” introducing new direction to his artist project. Jac looks forward to celebrating the release of his new EP with you in City Hall on 2/1.
Barkley Cove:
Barkley Cove is the band to watch in the new folk scene. Founded on group songwriting, rich vocal harmony, and improvisation, members Jillian Dolan (guitar, vocals), Silas Gross (guitar, banjo, vocals), Yusuf Miller (mandolin, vocals), and Robert Myers (bass) fearlessly mix genres of folk, rock, country, and bluegrass to create a distinctively original musical style. After debuting at local restaurants and bars while attending Millersville University, Barkley Cove quickly gained recognition across their home state of Pennsylvania. With their reach now expanding up and down the East Coast, the band’s imaginative songwriting and dedicated musicianship continues to push the boundaries of folk music.
Tess Beckett:
Tess Becket is an indie rock singer-songwriter, producer and audiovisual engineer based in York, Pennsylvania whose songwriting explores chronic illness, sobriety and lesbian relationships. Her experience working in the music and live event industry brings a unique amount of technical knowledge to her productions, and her debut single, “Toxic” released in 2023 to high praise. Kiernan Rogers with CLOUT said it best, “Toxic’ immediately establishes Tess as an artist with a flair for immersive songwriting and storytelling, diving into the deep end with a track steeped in gravity and rawness.” Drawing from influences like Paramore, King Princess, Julien Baker and Snail Mail, Becket’s sophomore single “Drink” brings that same dark vulnerability with a flair of anger. She just completed her first tour, “FIRST THINGS FIRST,” in June 2025. Listen to her music here tessbecket.com/stream.
