Join us for a FREE show in the Art Bar, featuring Jackson Cavalier! Jackson Cavalier delivers a dynamic Americana experience as a one-man band, blending elements of roots-rock, folk, blues, country, and bluegrass with raw energy and heartfelt storytelling. Utilizing an electrified parlor guitar, foot drums with a rhythmic drive, and layered harmonica solos, his lyrics and performances evoke the spirit of dusty backroads and smoky barrooms, exploring themes of heartbreak, wanderlust, and redemption with an authentic, modern edge.
He has been a full time recording and performing musician since 2013. Notably, he has opened up for Steve Earle, Willie Watson of Old Crow Medicine Show, The Felice Brothers, Billy Bob Thorton and The Boxmasters, Eilen Jewell, Blackberry Smoke, and Holly Golightly and The Brokeoffs. He has toured nationally multiple times as an independent artist, traversing south down the east coast to Florida, westwards to New Orleans, and back north through Nashville and onwards back to his hometown of Rochester, NY.
In the Spring of 2023 Jackson entered the Gems On VHS "Gems In The Rough" contest and out of over 1000 submissions and 3 rounds of voting placed 2nd overall. Beyond this, he has been voted "Best Busker" 3 times locally.
Jackson has released multiple full length records and all of his music can be found online. On average Jackson performs between 150 and 250 times a year at venues of all variations.

>> Parking may be available in the small lot across the street. Beyond that, there’s parking available around Buchanan Park and F&M College in the blocks surrounding West Art.
>> Format: This will be a standing show with limited seating available. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.

We're open from 7 am-10 pm daily, with a full and delicious espresso bar menu, along with a lovely selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, plenty of N/A options, and some tasty bites from our favorite local bakeries.
