Kids Art Club: DIY Ornament & Wrap
When: Session 2: Wednesday 12/17 & Friday 12/19, 10am-10:45am

Class Description: Toddlers ages 2-6 and their caregivers will join this two session workshop where they will make their own hanging initial and wrapping paper inspired by artist and educator Cassie Stephens and their book, Clay Lab for Kids. In the first class, children will enjoy the sensory experience of making their own clay and using their fine motor skills to bend and move the clay into their favorite letter or shape. In the second class, toddlers will complete and paint their dried ornaments and try out different process art techniques to create their own beautiful 27.5” X 19.5” wrapping paper! Caregivers are encouraged to work alongside their child to participate in the art making process.
Cost: $25 per family due at the beginning of class (cash, check, or venmo accepted)
What to Expect:
Hand on art exploration with your child
Introduction to creative thinking and process oriented art making for toddlers
Sensory rich, creative play (non-toxic and washable materials provided, things can get messy so dress accordingly)
Adaptive accommodations available
What to Bring:
Clothes that can get messy (we’ll provide protection too)
