Confessions: A night of storytelling.

  • West Art 800 Buchanan Avenue Lancaster, PA, 17603 United States (map)

Join us for a night of live storytelling at West Art, Lancaster’s Living Room. The theme for the evening is “Losing My Religion” - stories about faith, doubt, and the gray areas in between. This event will include several featured storytellers as well as an opportunity for audience members to share their stories related to the theme.

Stories are sacred- a uniquely human way of making sense of our experiences and connecting to each other. Stories make us laugh. They make us cry. They make us human.  Many of us have stories of questioning beliefs we once thought unshakeable, of changing our minds, of opening our hearts. Let’s celebrate these stories together.  (Tickets HERE)

If you’re interested in telling a story, you’ll have a chance to sign up during the event. Stories should:

  • Fit the theme for the evening

  • Be 5 minutes or less in length

  • Be true

  • Be told without notes or props

What to expect at the show:

>> Doors will open at 6:30 . Storytelling will begin at 7.

>> Tickets are $10 (click HERE) and can be bought in advance or at the door.

>> You’re welcome to bring a drink to sip on during the event (BYOB).

>> Parking may be available in the small lot across the street. Beyond that, there’s parking available around Buchanan Park and F&M College in the blocks surrounding West Art.

>> Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.
